Our Approach to Copyright
Vision4K takes copyright ownership seriously and operates in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). When we receive a properly documented complaint, we act on it without unnecessary delay.
If you have reason to believe that content accessible through our platform infringes on work you own the rights to, we want to hear from you directly so the matter can be looked into.
Before you submit: A complaint is processed far more quickly when it includes all the necessary details from the start, so please review the requirements below carefully.
Filing a DMCA Notice
A properly submitted takedown notice should contain the following information:
1 — Who You Are
- Full legal name
- A valid email address
- A contact phone number
- Your current mailing address
2 — What Was Infringed
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work in question
- Enough descriptive detail for us to understand exactly what you're claiming
3 — Where It Appears
- The specific location where the alleged infringing material can be found on our service
- Supporting details such as URLs, titles, or other identifying information
4 — Legal Declarations
- A statement confirming your good faith belief that the use in question has not been authorized by the copyright owner, their representative, or the law
- Confirmation that the information you're providing is accurate
- A declaration made under penalty of perjury, where legally applicable
- A signature, either handwritten or electronic
What Happens After You Submit
Once your notice reaches us, our team reviews it promptly and moves forward with appropriate action if the complaint checks out.
- You Submit — Send through your complete DMCA notice with all required information.
- We Review It — Our team verifies that everything needed has been included and assesses the claim.
- We Act — Notices found to be valid are addressed within 24 hours of receipt.
Our commitment on timing: Every DMCA request is reviewed within 24 hours of arrival. Where a complaint is confirmed as valid, we take the appropriate next steps in line with copyright law.
Misrepresentation Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, submitting a notice while knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing can expose the person filing it to legal liability.
Before filing: If you're not fully certain whether the material in question actually infringes your rights, it's worth speaking with a legal professional first.
Filing a Counter-Notification
If content connected to you was taken down or restricted and you believe this happened by mistake, you're entitled to submit a counter-notification using the same contact details listed below.
Your counter-notification should include:
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email
- A clear identification of what was removed or disabled
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you genuinely believe the removal was a mistake
- An acknowledgment that you accept the jurisdiction of the courts relevant to your location
- Your signature, physical or electronic
